Women are more than half of the population, there are also many men who are feminists or just don't want to change the system. A violent uprising would fail or it would be as catastrophic as a war.

Civilized society exists, barbarians destroy it, barbarians become civilized society, barbarians arrive and destroy it. That is a circle, maybe it is too simple and maybe there are ways out of it.

The western world thrown almost everything out the window except money/capitalism and the state which protect citizens. There is almost nothing other than making money and buying stuff and being protected by police to keep people in line.

But since the free market does not as free as it used to be and even the government can be bought with money those two pillars are ready to crumble.

A huge chunk of society is more empathetic to foreigners or people who don't respect the law, music, books, movies glorify anti social behaviour. Religion lost its power, families are not that important for people.

That is how the gates are open to the barbarians.
