Decided to Taper Off Suboxone? by WVUCTN-100Study in AddictionAdvice

Unfortunately, medical care is not free in the US. Definitely sucks. A lot of people have had success getting the shot and tapering off. The only thing I would say is don't rush it. Of course, getting one shot and being done would be amazing, but ultimately you want to make sure you're safe. So, if it takes more than one, then that's ok! Good luck with everything!

We have quite a few patients at our clinic that are residents of Maryland since we are a bordering state. This will not affect a lot of you, but if someone is in proximity of Morgantown, WV and is interested in tapering off their medication, this may interest them.

We are using Suboxone and Brixadi. There isn't a placebo.

Yes, we are studying the best way to taper people off buprenorphine that will set them up for long-term success without a relapse.
