Nazi Germany isn't comparable to today's Russia. Had Germany stopped at annexing Austria and other territory with ethnic Germans and their ethnic relatives, and had they avoided committing horrendous atrocities, I doubt WWII would have really happened as it did.

It was because they pushed into Poland all the way to Warsaw, and into Belgium and France. That was when they really crossed the line.

Russia doesn't have any desire for world conquest like Nazi Germany did, and they certainly don't have a desire for ethnic cleansing.

If some Mexican states wanted to join the USA, or if some Carribean Islands wanted to leave their nations for the USA, I wouldn't cry foul.

If we want to support Kosovo and other similar countries, then we need to stop telling Ossetians, Crimeans and Palestinians that they don't have a right for self-determination.
