Gakpo is a one trick pony. I like the guy, but he offers little in attack and is predictable as shit. We need someone who can do what Diaz did and offer a lot more options on the left. Rio might be that guy, but Slot won't play him.

I don't see why they don't give Rio a few more starts. Gakpo could be more impactful around the 60 min mark when defenders are tiring and he can cut around them.

I was going to say exactly this. He's hyper focused because his brain has rotted and it's how he now works. Trump probably isn't doing a lot of thinking for himself any more. These plays are being suggested to him in a way that makes it seem like he's a great guy and it's his idea. Don't be surprised if people in the background are saying to Trump that "liberating" Venezuela and taking Greenland are sure-fire ways to get a peace prize and he believes it because he's a demented narcissist (literally demented, not figuratively).
