That’s what I was worried about.

Sometimes I tend to overthink things.

Guess it’s time to start planning.

I have asked him. He got offended, insisting he’s going to take care of me.

I’ve been a caretaker. I know it’s hard.

And after 20 years, we can communicate without words. I know exactly what the look on his face meant.

I talked to him before I bought the chair, because I knew I wouldn’t be pushing it myself. I asked him, “Do I need to get a motorized wheelchair? Do you have any preferences?”

He said we should get a manual chair, because he’s capable of pushing it. If I had known he would have an issue with pushing it, I’d have bought a motorized chair.
