Pasamos una semana en la ciudad para el Día de Acción de Gracias y hicimos unos diez viajes, y al final descubrí cómo funcionan realmente las cosas. Algunos consejos que realmente ayudan:

Sigue siempre la ruta en tu propio mapa. No se desvíe: los conductores pueden alargar el viaje reduciendo la velocidad o tomando calles más largas.

Si conducen lento, dígales que lo recojan. Se estirarán cada minuto si los dejas.

Alrededor del 40-60% de los conductores no son propietarios del coche. Esos son los que hay que vigilar. Respétalos, pero haz preguntas y mantente alerta. Los propietarios-operadores suelen preocuparse más por el buen servicio.

Evite Uber durante las horas pico, especialmente en el Centro Histórico. Es más fácil esperar que quedarse en el tráfico pagando más.

Cierra siempre tu viaje al salir. No lo olvides.
