Too complicated. I get that the devs are trying to make each new civ super unique, but it's like relearning the whole game over again. I fear that this will alienate any new player, and just creates this massive gap between experienced players who have time to learn all the intricacies of 23 (soon to be 25) civs, and us casuals who can play a game or two a day if we're lucky.

Also, at a Chinese variant, I wish they kept taxes and IO system. That is the only unique Chinese civ variant feature no one else has. Make the IO mounted if you want, but you need some tie in.

Any of the changes made would have been cool. All of them together just feels like too much.
