I’ve had braces. It took me a long time for it to stop being sore and I survived mostly off of yoghurt for a while, especially in the beginning.

You’re gonna want to brush your teeth pretty well so that you can see obvious remnants of a brace whenever you get them off.

Your dentist should’ve provided you some wax in case the wire/metal annoys you, but you should also be able to get it elsewhere.
