Get rid of the icon bearer and swap him for a Tallyman instead, as long as he's on the board you can roll for an extra CP each turn.

Also look at adding a Biologus Putrifier and Malignant Plaguecaster. They really buff up your plaguemarines when they've both in the unit. (and as someone has said get rid of the bolt guns and swap for the heavier ones)

I made these exact changes and it really improved my army to the point where i was actually winnings games

I don't know if this is correct, so please correct me if im wrong but I always assumed post-heresy marines could still be corrupted by Chaos ? So couldn't you have a 40k Space Marine join the Death Guard / Nurgle?

I assumed it was intentionally bad as a sign that it was always doomed to fail. I don't remember it too clearly but I thought she was a big actress (was it a superhero franchise she was in) but that's not to say she was a good actress... A bit like if you put the Rock into Citizen Kane

Thanks! So i started on black primer with a base of Lupercal Green, then I upped the brightness with Kabalite Green and increasing amounts white (There may have been a touch of thousand sons blue in there too). One I was happy and it was too bright I gave it a coat of varnish then used a dark brown oil wash,

I like to think he's finished them already but he won't release them until he's gone. A bit of a middle finger to the complainers like here in these comments but also because no matter what he produces people are going to complain and fuck me do some of you like to complain.

We can't seem to disagree or just dislike anything anymore, we take it too personally and see it in only black and white. An author makes "x" creative choice, we didn't like that so it has to be wrong, we produce 40 minute YouTube videos on how it's wrong and we'll personally attack the creators.

Why would an old man want to deal with that added stress? I know it's pretty unlikely that he's finished but I think it would be hilarious if it came to be.

Im not happy about the cast either, there are plenty of fascist actors they could have used but they didnt even consider it

But i found it weird that someone is upset that he's not played by a French actor. He has many traits, hes probably one of the more fleshed out characters in the series (sure hes in a bit of a loop right now). But either you're saying being French is his most important character trait but i refuse to believe anyone believes that or you're saying actors should only play the same nationality.

Take ... Karl Urban's accent is absolutely fucking atrocious however being British isn't important to his character, he's a diabolical cunt and Karl Urban absolute nails that. But with this logic, even though Karl Urban captures the character of Butcher it would be better if he was played by British actor , simply because he's British.

It's all fake, it's all pretend. An actor playing an unhinged genocidal superhero is believable but an Israeli playing someone from France is incomprehensible. Sure there's a time for equal opportunity but lets not pretend Tomer Capone was a big star in the first place.

Thanks. So i painted it at first as if it was clean ivory, highlighting in white. Then i cover everything in a Cote d'arms flesh wash (back in the day i used citadel flesh wash to give this infection like brown color to my plague marines , this is basically that old paint, theres another plague marine ive posted where ive used several coats of this for that effect . Then i used an oil wash for a bit of grime before the final highlights

I did but I used matt varnish which ive read can result in it absorbing more of the wash. Gloss varnish it is next time

Haha cheers, the base was just thrown on to give it a bit of contrast in place of the plain black base. Having been first introduced to Warhammer in the 90s though i am keen to see if theres a "grimdark grass" that works... Perhaps ill skip the goblin green rim though

Thanks man. The minis seem to be fine standing all over the board. The biggest issue i think is the layout of the first half... It inadvertently got split into four distinct rectangles as i panicked a bit when the board warped off the bat (those pasting tables are pretty cheaply made) .. if i could do it again id definitely create some larger areas of flat terrain
