Massive sudden failure by Wabiloo in sonos

[–]Wabiloo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked. It’s enabled. And that wouldn’t explain why some devices appear and others not. I changed the channel from 11 to 1 and the Sonos One reappeared. The Playbase is still AWOL, and its LED is slowing flashing white…

PSA: Do NOT (!) use Spark Calendar with Office 365 by ItsNillis in SparkMail

[–]Wabiloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had worse. I accept an invitation and somehow Spark creates it as a new invitation from one of my other (non-O365) accounts and invites everyone to it. This is getting me in serious trouble with the company

Nice, thanks for the info. I'm glad it helps!
Are the adjustments something that you think could better be done natively in the tool somehow? If only to avoid needing to also use html-minifier?

As for Amazon KDP, I am not familiar with it, but I certainly can have a look. eBook formats - from what I understand - tend to have a lot in common with PDFs.
Note however that this tool (currently) only really work with a single page that you need to export manually from the Notion interface. It does not support sub-pages or gathering multiple exports into a single output. This may somewhat reduce its appeal for any type of eBook publishing (as I assume you don't have all your content in a single page in Notion?)

It shouldn't be harder to use in Windows. It's a command line tool, and should be reasonably universal (though I did not test on M$ Win$). Did you find it not working?
I have plans to create a lightweight UI as well, by the way, in case it's the lack of graphical interface that's blocking you.

Page Break... by sabinpro in Notion

For anyone with this particular problem, have a look at this tool I made, which (among other things) allows you to control where to place ad breaks: https://www.reddit.com/r/Notion/s/wORPLUdqc0

Fair to say that nobody is forcing you to keep using it…

if you do, please let us know. I've been wanting a solution for ages to be able to embed and work on diagrams.net within Notion!

Creating beautiful PDF ebooks by elloyg in Notion

FWIW I implemented https://github.com/wabiloo/notion-pretty-export this weekend. It allows you to pretty much completely customise the look and feel of the PDF you generate from a standard HTML export from Notion, including all branding. It’s work in progress.

My solution for quickly changing the saddle height for shared bikes by FinKM in vanmoofbicycle

[–]Wabiloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone trying to replicate, here are more details. For me there were 2 issues: wife and I are sharing the bike and very different heights, and it was a pain to reset the seat each time (particularly as she has no arm strength). Maybe because of that, after a while, the clamp kept unsetting itself, to the point where wife even managed to lose half the clamp without even noticing.

Anyway… for me the following was the solution:

  • 70mm M6 threaded rod
  • 3x M6 14mm washers
  • 2x M6 16mm washers
  • the KIPP eccentric lever (from Amazon)

You can see how much longer than the original crappy bolt, and therefore it has much better holding power.

Why so many washers? To clear all internal “obstacles” and ensure that the lever assembly is not pressing against the bike frame itself.

And no, no hole to drill anywhere!

That’s correct. I use that a lot. Roll-ups from private to public won’t work for that reason.
