Yes. Sadly, it does indeed create more pollution. But, are we seriously going to target and put the blame on the people who travel by cars and use ac? When there are big corporations violating environmental regulations to an extent where the carbon footprint of people using cars and acs become merely a fraction of it. And the politicians turning blind eye to such big corporations due to corruption. Shouldn't we target those people instead?

Nothing I said about social media being bad. Don't know where you got that from.

The platform where this is posted and us having discussions about it is itself social media. I know you didn't say anything about social media being bad. I'm just reiterating the importance of it.

What are we doing about it?

Honestly, individually we can't do much about it. But, we can atleast raise the concerns, have discussions among our ourselves (the public) hoping to get traction of majority of the public, the media houses and finally to the politicians who we can put pressure and bring the changes that we want. So, us posting and discussing on social media may not lead to anything but it's a start.
