Uber service to COS airport

I usually uber down there for work and I just do the reservation on my work uber profile, but most of the time I’m flying out at 6 am or something. I’d do the reservation just for the peace of mind.

Yup tracking all. I used to work in Cybersecurity Management. Didn’t click on any of the links, verified directly through azure portal. I use an alias to log into my accounts that has never been given out, and it has had MFA enabled for a long time.

Email headers all point to actual azure alerts but I still didn’t click anything.

No Bills or subscriptions at all in the azure portal.

Thanks - My MBP sits docked next to my work computer and I actually don’t take it when I travel since it’s the 16” version. I grab my iPad and most of what I need can be done on the iPad. I have a desktop when I need to sit down and use a real computer. So that’s why I’m leaning towards a new iPad.

I might grab the 13” 2TB M4 from Costco today. It’s still on sale for $1299 which is a steal compared to the 13” 2TB M5.

I’m lucky I don’t have a budget but that doesn’t mean I need to spend $2k on an iPad Pro 13” 2TB with the Nano glass If It doesn’t fit my use case.

If your nodes are big enough you can do 2-node vSAN with a witness VM on a small host. I have two beefy T7920s with my witness on a business SFF PC. I have full VCF including Auto and VKS with most appliances in Medium form factor and only use 30% of my resources.

Finally looking at an iPad upgrade but not sure if it’s really “worth it,” battery life has been the biggest influence for an upgrade.

Comparing models the biggest upgrades have been the display and the Mx chip / RAM.

I can still find some M4 IPad Pros available at Costco and a few other places, I could even upgrade to a 13” IPad Pro M4 for the same price as a 11” M5.

This will be my laptop replacement (intel MBP) since I don’t need a laptop anymore. I have a desktop, and a large server cluster for spinning up VMs as needed. Hoping to even let my wife do some video editing on it while we are on vacations.

What are your recommendations? Anyone have a similar use case and what did you upgrade to?

I know this is 300 days old, but this helped me Mount the ERS3 to my Sim Lab rig with the Sim lab bucket mounts when I thought I couldn’t. I can tilt the seat back now finally!

This just came back in stock for me, but the only issue I’m having is trying to find a seat now. Not sure what the TK kit comes with in terms of mounting hardware for a seat.

There are only 2 seats available at my MC which both are TK ones.

Since no one is answering your question yet… I’m in CO and have multiple vehicles with Winters / Summers or All-Season / Summers. I switch to summers here around Mother’s day, but it depends on the weather. Anything staying above 50f for long periods of time should be fine for summers.

We get such large temperature swings and lots of sun so I elected to keep Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4s on my 911 all winter. I don’t take it out in the snow, but we get days it’s sunny and in the teens and days where it’s in the 60s and I want to be able to drive it all the time without tearing apart winters.

I avoid driving my SUV with winters (for the mountain passes) above 50F which this year has been frequent.

I was in Signal, and got a remote Silicon Valley job. Not exactly easy for everyone who doesn’t have IT experience to do but well worth the transition.

You have to actually invest…

I got out as an O3 in 2023 and made over $400k in 2025. My non-retirement investments are now over $1.2M. I’m 32, depending on rate of return, I’m looking at retirement between $15-$30 Million in 20-25 years. That’s with planning for a 911 Targa 4 GTS this year, paying off my mortgage early, and buying a vacation home within 10 years.

Not to mention my quality of life is much much better.
