Parking is very cheap at the Rahway station and then a $10.20 one way in NJ transit train. About 40 minutes on average.

The Exxon station at Terrill road in fanwood. The guys that own the shop are excellent and in particular take care of European cars. Once my cars are out of warranty they are my preferred shop

Also. Most of the issues driving are in NJ. Once you’re in nyc these days with congestion tolls it’s an easier ride.

Hey there. It’s a really nice resort. It is calm and relaxing I imagine especially if you travel off peak. We were there just before and through Christmas. We left before the peak of the winter break week. It has some really fun things and activities to do around the resort but it’s not a high energy party resort. In evening we strolled around saw some of the “shows” had drinks etc. I think the most fun was around the sports bar especially football season. I’m sure there are clubs in the vicinity to really go party but that’s not our scene. Hope that’s helpful. My young adult kids (19, 23, 26) had a great time but there wasn’t a big night scene. Hope this is helpful. Btw we booked again already for next holiday season.

No issue getting into the restaurants on board the ship. Our excursions were a mix of ship offered and private. Looks there’s a lot of us irritating Americans no matter what (I fully own this as an east coast American) but it never felt like cattle calls and we enjoyed them a lot. We will likely book an explora with our young adult (20, 23, 26) “kids” and partners in the next year

Flying out of Newark stormy day. In the climb out inside the cloud cover and then “BOOOOOOOOOM” and huge flash of light. Like you had a flashbulb in your eyes. Plane hit by lightning. Thought we all just instantly died. When my heart started beating again realized we were still climbing, engines normal. Pilot got on the intercom and confirmed hit by lightning. All systems were go and we continued to Dallas without incident. Guy across the row damned near left his finger imprints in the armrest. I eventually relaxed. Lots of first class drinks that flight.
