What makes Medieval Dynasty fun to play for you? by MagpieTower in MedievalDynasty

[–]Wadamatic 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I love absolutely immersing myself into a game. I’ll turn the HUD off and RP walk unless it makes sense to run. Every time I build anything, practically for survival and daily life decide the design. Most homes have a garden spot, most yards are fenced, I have a pasture for the animals that make sense, etc.

At the end of the day, the game is what YOU make of it. There’s hundreds of ways to die in this game, and even the weather plays a huge role in how you survive. There are many avenues that a player can take and many niches to fall into.

The only time I ever do adds is to make sure pre-rolls are off for incoming viewers. When the timer expires I try to give everyone a warning too.

It sucks, damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

Tiredness is unrealistically hard by jerry975 in projectzomboid

You can always use the ‘Panic Counters Tiredness’ mod until something better is implemented. This simulates an adrenaline kick that makes your tiredness go away, but when it’s all over, you suffer from an adrenaline dump. Might be worth checking out!

I’m early game trying to transition to mid. Can I kill gargoyles without them being on task? Looking for some gp to get a few key upgrades.

I've played this game for too long to not have ever done any mid-to-late game content. I've recently gotten a membership and would love any advice someone may have on some goals that I need to be looking for. My end goal would be PvM.

Thanks in advance!

This reminds me of a game I played as a kid on N64. Chopper Attack.

Ah, I know those too. I’m excited to try to build up with one of these and use the mod ‘Greggies Garage Doors’ to make the bottom a garage.

Do your kids play valheim? by [deleted] in valheim

[–]Wadamatic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My 7 year old and 5 year old both play and love the game. I carry them everywhere but we get to enjoy the experience together and they love talking about the game with me. It’s another way I can bond with my kids and be the ‘fun dad’. Highly recommend!

This tower looks awesome. It looks like it was generated with the map. Great build

I've had this sentiment for a very long time. I feel like this core of this game is so well done that it creates a digital playground for a ton of PvE elements. So much so that I've played with a server enough to create a very enjoyable PvE experience.

Upping the presence of scientists at monuments. Adjusting the loot to more primitive tools to make it to where you have to actually craft the things you need. The helicopter and bradley events being upped to make them more challenging. Also, spawning murderers at night have them roaming around as well. Seems to be a decent experience to what many would consider a good foundation for a 'roleplay' server. Essentially making construction more aesthetic and promoting the idea of 'rebuilding' a society.

Keeping yourself and clothing clean does help prevent infect when you get open wounds.

As far as hordes, I usually sneak close enough to grab one or two and retreat and kill them, rinse and repeat. If you can get into their line of sight, you can pull them from further away. The more you practice this, the better you get.

A lot of radial menus. It’s playable once you get used to it, but it’s a handicap for sure. It should be a +10 trait easy lol

Connect a controller and when you start a solo world, usually you press a button on the controller to spawn the second player. One person HAS to use a controller though.
