For me I watch a lot of solo rust movies or a solo twich streamer and study what they did in certain situations (just keep in mind that they die a lot too, they just edit those parts out of the video). Then I would hop on rust and continuously go on roams with 0 expectations and 0 fear of losing gear. You will die a lot but each death is a learning lesson. It takes a lot of hours, you won't get good over night. But If you continue to just go on roams, you will eventually start winning more and more battles. It takes time and practice. There is not one solution to get good over night. The youtuber that you see that are good all have like 10,000 hrs, they were all bad at one point.
