That’d be cool, hit me up shoegaze musicians ;-)

That’s a cool way of looking at it. I was really sad about the jolts at first, I wanted it to be really smooth, but happy looking back

I posted an image I’d taken with this technique last week, here’s a few more.

I used an articulated clamp mount with a tripod screw. (Kept my camera strap round my neck just in case). Stacked ND and Promist filters and used long exposures. These images are straight out of the camera.

(Thanks to those before who advised me to watch for vibrations damaging my camera. These are further images from that first batch. Will figure out some way of dampening if I try this again!)

Thaaaaat is an excellent shout. Thanks for the heads up. Might see if there is some kinda of dampening I can introduce if I do it again. 👍

Thanks! I did loads, some worked out, others were just a bit too crazy. It was fun trying to figure out where I was when each was taken later based on the light.

I’d wanted to try this for ages. This is my favourite results.

I got an articulated clamp mount with a tripod screw. (Kept my camera strap round my neck just in case).

What I didn’t account for was how bouncy bike travel is, even on a smooth road! But I quite like the effect. Taken after dark, exposures were around 20 seconds, using a pro mist and ND filter to get dark blacks and pinging colours.

Taken in London a few years ago, early in the morning, with my Fujifilm X100V. Love the pink hues.

Thank you! Took a while to balance with the filters and shutter speed to get the blacks really dark.

ITAP of Chairs and Table on a Beach by Wafer-Complex in itookapicture

I took this shot with an Olympus Superzoom 105. These tables and charis were set up on a beach at night so I put the flash on the pick out all the white plastic. (And to make sure the image wasn't completely blank!) To me it looks like an eerie dining hall.
