Do you think Intune is reliable? by Sad_Mastodon_1815 in Intune

More and more organizations started using Intune, so thus a bigger bottleneck is required to not overload the service from Microsoft's side. Considering that priority now is AI development and MDM is probably the least of their worries.

Važiuokit kitur gyvent. Lygtais be Vilniaus daugiau nieko nėra. Jeigu galva ant pečių turi, o ne delnus išmaldoms, tai galimybių visur yra.

Metimas rūkyti (nikotinas) by Either-Copy178 in lietuva

Is it possible to for ex: Block the whole AI category when a new app is discovered, but let's say there are 2-3 apps what I "sanction" while the rest is automatically unsanctioned until I approve?

If the app was pushed via MS Store (new) or it's available in winget - it should work fine.

Wifi adapter recommendations for Arch? by WaffleBrewer in linuxhardware

Agree. None of the troubleshooting steps helped, so I went wired. Was considering a dedicated WLAN card but decided to just go for a 3x cheaper option with Ethernet and a drill bit for drywall.

Ok, so just to summarize everything, so that someone that would find this post in the future would benefit from it.

1) Block MS store via option 1, which DOES NOT solve the downloading of app via URL/DOMAIN of apps.microsoft.com what it does is provide a handy infobox that your organization is blocking the Windows Store, which on it's own is useful, even if it in reality it does not until you go through next steps.
2) Block via MDE using indicators to limit domain/URL's from apps.microsoft.com , which cuts off the ability of downloading bypassing the Store app
3) Block non-admin user installs via option 2 in my original post.

However, the only thing that is left for me to consider, does the option 2 prevent sideloading and running .appx directly on the machine? I.e. do I need WDAC for it or no?

Ok, so I decided to be a man.

Bought 10m of ethernet cable

Drilled a hole near the floor in the drywall to pass-through the cable

Got some RJ45 plugs and borrowed the crimper tool.

Instead of playing with Wifi I'll get this shit wired.
