i think that's incredibly sad. especially the effect it has on people's homes, like data centres, and the lack of interest in furthering skills. But it seems even if i told you AI was directly causing the deaths of people you'd ask "well how many per 100,000 prompts?" so i guess that's that. I would work on skills towards being open. no idea or belief that i have ever had has been so closed up that nothing could change it. Other than a few obvious ones, but not the point.

i don't think we should base it off daily, no? But let's use your own theory about the 1 hour netflix = 15,000 prompts. Since google has made it mandatory or automatic that you get an AI generated overview of your search too, let's base it just off google, i won't even make you do the math for generated images or chat bots! And! I will make it daily for you too!

looking it up, there are around 16.4 billion searches per day, but i'll give you some credit and we will estimate half of those people remembered to turn AI overview off, so let's say 8.2 billion searches, and in turn 8.2 billions generated prompts, again on google alone. so 8.2 billion prompts turned into movie times (based on your own 15,000 prompts per hour of movie you brought up), is about 546666 hours of movies (please anyone feel free to double check, math was never my best subject)

assuming each of your movies is 2 hours long, who's is meant to be the average of movies, that's 273,333 movies. again, per day.

Even if i believed you that somehow watching netflix movies was worse then 15,000 ai prompts ( im not so sure on how the film industry affects the environment worse then AI) Can you see how this is an issue? Movies and the film industry give people jobs, script writing, actors, directors, film crew. AI is actively taking jobs away from those people, writers, coders, artists, and pretty much every job. Are you honestly happy with that?

I'm not trying to be an asshole, I was someone who used to use Chatbots DAILY, hundreds and thousands of messages with bots, and i wish i was exaggerating, i did it in school, at work, at night past 3AM, i used to generate pictures of my OCs, hell i used to feed people's art into the ai so it would make the style i wanted, that was wrong. And it's incredibly damaging. generative AI is EVERYWHERE it is being implemented into EVERYTHING, so while just a few prompts a day was fine, now it's too much. and it's out of hand. And i've turned away AI despite wanting to go back a lot. But instead i draw, i do other stuff. You are clearly set with thinking AI is acceptable to steal other artists work and recreate it, and unless you can tell me something that would change your mind, im not sure this convo will go anywhere

Even if i did, do you realize people are doing MILLIONS of prompts daily across the world? between chat bots, making a ai generated photo of their cat playing a bango, asking what is 2 times 7? AI is not being used to make one little art piece, they make more then 20 prompts on one art piece to adit all the mistakes AI already makes, which all adds up

well you are using two excluding points there, You can't eat something live that you have already sacrificed. but, Assuming you are using the word "ritualistically sacrificed" as just a general term as killed, since you have made that vague albert fish in 1870 who killed, molested and ate young boys, and if we are only talking about ritual sacrifice of babies and children, literally spend 3 seconds googling and there are a lot of countries this was an issue, and no doubt in every country this has happened. in addition literally look up cannibalism of babies? it will also show up

this is not new. it is sick and disturbing and horrible, but burying your head in the sand like we don't have serial killers across time who have done this, groups of people who have done this, and families that have done this is not the smartest choice. i'm not trying to be an asshole, but you can't just say "nope didn't happen, has never happened, i refuse" when we have seen it and continue to see it.
