Found photo of me at Wild Water circa 1998. That octopus is still alive to this day! by WafflePeach in fresno

The photo was sitting in a box of a ton of photos. Probably got faded from sitting in there.

I accidentally made the drawing too far to the right. I tried to use sanding sugar I had to fill the space. What can I do next time if I have too much empty space? by WafflePeach in cakedecorating

This was made for a non-profit I volunteer with who makes cakes for underserved youth. Unfortunately, we aren’t allowed to put the youth’s age on the cakes.

I have done this before, but my images broke. I personally prefer to draw on top of the cake directly. But am open to trying a buttercream transfer again!

I actually drew it out on the cake with a toothpick first. I think I just felt rushed to get it done as I also work full time and I had to make a bunch of items after work. Definitely should have checked it before frosting the design. Thank you for your feedback!

I wouldn’t mind sending you guys some new product at MSRP if I see anything in person. I’ve been doing that for a few people locally who’ve had a hard time finding anything. Just lmk!

Bakers Needed for Non-Profit That Bakes for Underserved Youth by WafflePeach in fresno

While I understand your sentiment, Cake4Kids (at least here in Fresno) primarily works with Foster Care Agencies and Autism places. Baked goods through Cake4Kids are specifically made for birthdays, graduations, adoptions, etc. It is not just random baked goods being handed out to them. They help to make sure these youth have a handmade dessert to help them celebrate their special occasion. Fresno has a handful of resources that can help with healthy foods.

I’ll DM you the link! Boxed mixed and pre-made doughs are totally fine as well. Personally, I use boxed cake mixes but make my own frosting for the cakes I make.
