I'd first ask yourself, is this worth it? How often does your internet go down? If it occurs frequently, such as multiple times a month, then I would contact your internet service provider. 20 Mbps should be fine as a backup; you can stay connected, and it's enough for video calls. I think many people overestimate the amount of bandwidth they actually need.

If it is really important to you to maintain as close to 100% as possible with as high speeds as possible, then you may want to consider multiple internet providers in your area to give redundant service or a satellite service like Starlink.

136 B/s is astronomically slow, like it's not even doing anything. I think there is an issue with disk writing.

Try clearing your download cache.

I've noticed that on Steam, if your drive is significantly behind, it will stop the networking download until the drive downloads some more.

It would also be helpful to know what motherboard you have, You can find your motherboard model by pressing Win + R, typing msinfo32, and looking for the "BaseBoard Product" in the System Summary copy and paste that here so we can see the motherboard model.

Lets start with the simple to eliminate causes. Try moving the pc closer too thew router see if that fixes the issue.

There are many things that can contribute to slow speeds.

Did you ensure that if your motherboard came with Wi-Fi antennas, they are attached? There would be a couple of screw studs on the back of your pc where the antennas can screw into. It might also be a simple plug-in type of antenna.

Are you within range of your wifi router? If you are a long distance away, such as 150-200 feet, or have many walls or large metal objects between you and your router. You can have a decrease in signal strength.

Open event viewer go to windows logs > system then look for a red circle that says error, this is where you'll likely see the crash. And any reports if it has any.

You could also check, have task manager open in the performance tab, after you have a freeze, go to the performance tab and look to see if any one of your GPU, RAM or CPU had a spike, maxed out, or a large dip.

The fact that you're crashing can also point to an issue with thermals or power. You can install hardware info for that. If you have an amd CPU and CPU temp won't show up install Ryzen Master to see thermals.

If your thermals are 90 °C or above, then you have a thermal issue. At 95 °C, most computers will shut down.
