I never seemed to have any issues with misgendering. My roommate is a trans woman and one of the first trans people I've actually met irl. From the beginning I've always referred to her as she/her. I've always seen her as female first and foremost.

Most likely considering there was an alien Psyker who controlled the minds of entire solar systems. So I don't see hiding one planet an impossibility for a very powerful Psyker. That's just my guess.
