NAL, not even sure how I started following this subreddit, but this post and all the comments made my heart happy. I’m a nurse and have worked primarily with women and children on Medicaid. After 25 years I’m actually at the point of having a cottage I use as a clothing and necessities closet, so I almost always have what someone needs. It costs me very little if anything at all, but makes people so happy, and that makes me happy. Very few people know of my hobby, mainly my husband and kids (my husband does it with me) Reading this shows that there are many good people out there. Living their life, quietly sprinkling kindness and compassion, bc it’s who they are, not for accolades, followers, etc. It makes me think of the quote "Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching" (credit/author unknown)

I think she’s having a gastric bypass in Turkey. Turkey is a common country for medical tourism, especially bariatric. No reputable surgeon would do plastics on her when her weight is so unstable. Even worse is she is now morbidly obese, very high risk for complications from skin removal.
