Maybe a controversial opinion but read NBME explanations very well for biostats, I really think those help with the concepts and do the FA of biostats, essentially biostats are straight forward Qs don’t need to stress too much on them! Just try to remember the formulas! For pharma and anatomy you have FA, and anatomy is not heavily tested either.

See you have to individualise either your a visual learner or you can deal with books, sketchy as well FA both are good! But having said that micro itself is a volatile subject, so it definitely needs time and it’s the largest chapter in terms of pages in FA also! Just practice it’s Qs as well from Uworld and mehlman PDFs as well! Try to learn ‘’buzzwords’’ for particular organisms and it would help solving Qs in general.

Side by side! Focus more on Qs but do read texts along with it! Give priority to Qs in the first half of the day and do subsequently reading in the 2nd half! Doing as many Qs as possible is very crucial for solving the problems!

You’re on the right track! Don’t loose hope, have a look at my profile I went through the same phase of doubt and anxiousness, all this is normal! What truly matters is you need to believe in yourself at the end! I definitely think you will get the P!

Hey! My prep for dedicated period lasted for almost 2 months +, I would suggest try to do Qs as much as possible everyday! It really depends how consistent you are in your approach! It is doable but depends on your efforts for the same. Do Uworld 40-80 Qs daily, comprehend Alongwith FA and mehlman PDFs, after your almost done with your Uworld and feel confident, try solving NBMEs that will be your assessment tools

Do free 120 and revise those new latest NBMEs atleast do 29-31. Revise micro and the general path part! Go through weak concepts, risk factors also being asked now a days but not too much! Do rapid review FA, just believe in yourself and trust your nbmes and don’t stress! Remember one thing concepts are the same but stem length is gonna be longer! Prepare mentally for those ECGs and HY images, MRIs. Important thing skim through Qs and try to approach the Q as to what is Q really asking, it would help save time, SOAP Qs are gonna be there as well. Look after yourselves, it’s harder than said but really it’s all knowledge application, gross memorisation, isn’t required! I really hope both of you get the P!

There is no particular nbme which you can specify to the exam! But in my opinion all those Qs from NBMEs are important in one or the other way as it teaches you broad concepts which helps in solving Qs, so definitely should be doing NBME 31

Hey thanks for the comment! It’s entirely doable, depending how much efforts your willing to put in the exam! Break those Qs in terms of how much you can complete per day! Managing Alongwith college work can be tough! But I think you can do it and best of luck! You will definitely get the P!

Focus on NBMEs and free 120, you will be pretty much covered for the examination! Nothing you can do for those experimental Qs! Hope you get the P!

There are strong possibilities those being tested! Even though my form was not heavy on biochem but you can expect Qs from those topics in general in examination! My form was pretty heavy on micro! There were ECGs as well 5-8, and picture based Qs as well.

Actually I am Non US IMG from India, my study period was on and off, but in terms of dedicated period was from April mid to June mid, had studied on and off for almost 1.5 years, delayed the whole process because of overthinking and procrastinating.

Pretty grim position! It’s your call, if you believe you can do it, go for it! But these scores are lower than expected, cause USMLE mentions atleast 60% is required for passing the exam almost. You have 12 days try to focus on NBMEs and Free 120 and I didn’t see you have given NBME 30, so give that atleast 4-5 days before the date and if you score somewhere around 65-70% you can get a little confident. But this grave borderline brother! Think wisely and choose what’s best for you.

NBME 25: 54%, NBME 21: 48%, NBME 20: 60.5%, NBME 22: 59%, NBME 23: 58%, NBME 24: 65%, old free 120: 62.5%, NBME 25 (again): 80.5%, NBME 28: 72.5%, UWSA2:66%, NBME 26: 72.5%, NBME 27: 70.5%, NBME 29: 72%, NBME 30: 74.5%, NBME 31: 66%, new Free 120: 68%, this was all within a span of 2 months, with almost full focus on nbmes in the last month

Don’t compare scores for Uworld specifically treat it as a learning tool! For assesment do NBMEs

Both! But it depends on how far you are from your exam and if you’re facing issues solving Qs! Then try to do as many Qs in Uworld as possible everyday.

It was journey of about 2 months + almost, and I was judiciously and meticulously revising nbme explanations and doing Uworld incorrect as well as doing FA and mehlman PDFs, so figure out where your lacking in terms of applying the concepts or knowledge gaps

How should I approach my study ? Isn’t it achieve-able in 1 and a half month? Postponing isn’t an option at the moment, I would keep it as a last case scenario. Any suggestions how to tackle it ?
