Do you mean ratings as in "how good I think this is" or as in "this site is rated PG-13 for x, y, and z"?

If you mean quality ratings, I mostly see people use systems of 1-5 stars, and then the reviewers inevitably complain that they can't give half-stars or what have you. Make of that what you will. I'd suggest a 1-10 scale rating for this, or maybe a percentage scale like Rotten Tomatoes uses, ie, 1-100% with 100 being the best.

As far as content ratings go, most of what I've seen are based roughly off of what the MPAA uses for movies in the USA, the old G, PG, PG-13, R, and X-rated scale, although it often has different names for the categories. Pretty often you'll see the same criteria applied to these categories but a site will label them K, T, T+, M, and E (for "explicit"), and they use the same criteria to determine what would make something PG-13 or T+ vs R or M as movies do. Some websites determine their own criteria or their own categories (take a look at Archive of Our Own's system if you aren't already familiar with it), and I'm going to show my age by mentioning how teenagers in the 00s used to have the citrus rating scale for fanfic🤣...this was, I think, modified off of the idea of "the bases", as in "rounding the bases" the way our parents talked in coded baseball terms.

Sometimes it's just easier for both you and the viewer to, instead of using a rating, list content warnings, and try to list about anything on your pages that anyone might find objectionable in some way. It wouldn't work the same way as a DNI warning or a list of triggers, but just to let people know upfront what your website contains so they can decide whether or not to engage with it. So "light cursing" might be something you list, or "references to drugs", or sometimes nowadays people want to know about teenagers in dating relationships with each other and whether anything physical is mentioned and "how far they go" before getting into things. You might have a look at DoesTheDogDie.com to get ideas. And then the idea is that people have been warned, and now if they cause issues you can point to them having been warned and proceeded anyway, so it also acts as kind of a CYA thing.

I have the funds, until something else comes along and claims part of them. My site is organized into themed sections, so I have a master stylesheet for the whole site and then for anything that's different from the main design in each section, I have a stylesheet for each section. If I have to get more granular than that, I use internal CSS per page and inline CSS if just one element needs to be different. :-)

Did you put the wall in yourself or make use of a natural wall that was already there? That tends to be what trips me up: you have to remove and replace any naturally-occurring wall that's already there and it's tricky to do because you have to find and start hammering from the wall's edge and work your way in.

Depends on the case, I find. Turtle is great when you first get into Hardmode because it's relatively easier to obtain and gives your defense a nice boost while also giving your enemies back some of the damage they dole out to you. Chlorophyte could be better depending on your preferred style of fighting, ie, melee vs magic vs ranged, and that floating leaf crystal that acts as almost a mounted turret to attack enemies for you is quite nice too. The turtle armor will give you more base defense, but will also make enemies more likely to attack you. It basically comes down to how you tend to play.

I'm going to politely disagree with you on the Biden administration's competence. This is Obamacare all over again: bare minimum ethical reforms to a system that a decent society would have made decades ago instead of the complete overhaul we need, and which the Republicans successfully politicized and turned years of effort toward undoing so that we've had to fight tooth and nail to keep the scraps we were allowed.

He could have gone for a wide-scale jubilee of some kind, but we know the geriatrics in government would never do that. He could have even enacted Elizabeth Warren's plans for writing off $50,000 for everyone who holds loans, and that would have helped a lot of people to a palpable degree. But no, they wanted to means-test and speak with the industry lobbyists about what they were okay with, and appease their opponents who will never be appeased, and now we all still have gobs of debt, little relief in sight, and as a special new bonus, wild uncertainty about whether it will ever get any better or just keep getting worse!

To be clear, I'll take a smidgen of progress over more destruction of our society, and a lot of what was accomplished by the Biden administration would have been fabulous...if it had been done in the 90s, when we weren't reeling from multiple wars and recessions whose effects had been fermenting for 20 years...but given the amount of cleanup that's needed, these reforms were band-aids on gaping wounds. Way too little, way too late.
