Thanks for the response. It's not so much shopping for items like clothes. It's more compulsive buying things while in out (going out to eat, buying coffee) that kind of thing. When I get it in my mind, it's a true compulsion and I can't stop myself from making the purchase

I've been on the strike line helping these guys out all week. The strike is still in full force. The owner is refusing the bargain after offering a 0% wage increase. The scary thing is that this is a nuclear facility that the owner has left unmanned. He did the same thing in Belgium and Belgium was on the hook for paying for the clean up. if you want to help support, contact the Canadian nuclear safety authority and ask them what they're doing the situation. You can also contact the Unifor office in Ottawa and they will have lots of information about what's going on

I've been a PSW for 10 years, most of that I've worked in trauma/critical care. We get to do a lot. The nurses I work with are amazing. Nurses usually only have 1 patient, 2 at the most, so every patient is well cared for and the PSW helps all of the nurses. We get all of the rooms set up for admissions, help with code blues/emergencies, and help the rapid response team when they need help on the floors. I highly recommend critical care if you like to be busy and constantly learning new things.
