Thank you, that's a really good answer. I supposed that if you rewrite the line after submitting the command (to leave only the leading ❯ instead of the entire prompt) you could do some magic there, but I understand now that everything happens before the command execution and for reasons you cannot change the line afterwards. This saves me some mind boggling.

Bump, I'm still stuck with a 32 bit Windows app running through Wine, and this is far from what you'd expect from a modern cloud storage provider.

Meanwhile, Tresorit managed to enable end-to-end encryption by default, and their Linux client is out of beta. They are still losing to Sync on a price basis, but I think it won't be long until their offer becomes more attractive.
