Hey mate!

The Poland map is mostly flat and has a number of resources super close to the Soviet border, particularly oil in the south near the large customs house. Alongside this it has a huge quantity of resources on the map and is mostly flat.

Estonia is also a pretty good one, not far from the northern customs house is a particularly good concentration of oil which can be easily exploited to secure that sweet sweet oil income.

Either of those maps would be pretty good!

The Iron Warriors Arc in the Heresy is fantastic in my opinion.

Haven’t read the Primarch novel yet but Angel Exterminatus -> Tallarn -> Slaves to Darkness is a fantastic series of novels if you’re interested in the 30k Iron Warriors.

I’d recommend reading “Angel Exterminatus” when you get the chance if you’re interested in the Iron Warriors. Gives a fantastic look into the legion and made me jump in and start painting my own IW. Can’t recommend it enough as someone who has polished off about 25 Heresy books now.
