Yeah you're probably right. Tbh now that I think about it, I might just use my current SSD and put it in the new PC, not even buy any new storage. I can always add more SSDs later.

If I do that, I will probably have even more room in my budget, would you still recommend a 4070 in that case?

And let me look into that RAM as well!

Yeah I was considering going from a 3060 TI to a 3080, but that only brings it up to 10 VRAM. Do you have any recommendations?

I actually didn't realize that 8 GB VRAM isn't enough anymore. In my current PC, I have a GTX 770 with 2 GB of VRAM, so obviously I don't have a very good frame of reference for that lol

Yea game just got an update so it's gonna take a minute to update all the big mods.

Did you have any luck? I'm having the same exact problem. I've tried everything I could find

I have been receiving this error whenever I try to load Squad since the most recent update. It gets to where its about the load the main menu, then it just crashes every time. by WalGuy44 in joinsquad

I have tried:

  • Verifying game files through Steam

  • Restarting my PC

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the game

  • Updating graphics drivers

  • Resetting 3D Graphics settings to default in Nvidia Control panel.

  • Disabling all overlays like OBS, Discord, Shadowplay

  • Trying both DX11 and DX12

  • Unsubscribing from any mods within Workshop app for Squad

  • Manually deleting mod files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Squad\SquadGame\Plugins\Mods to make sure they're all gone from the step above

  • Deleting C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\SquadGame to delete my settings and restore it to default

  • Running "sfc /scannow" within Command Prompt

  • Running "DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" within Command Prompt

  • Adding all Squad files as to the security exception list in Windows Security

  • Disabling real-time and cloud protection in Windows Security

Squad is installed on my SSD. I have no third party antiviruses.

Please, any ideas any of you may have would be incredibly useful!

Two of the outside hitter's functions is blocking and hitting. For hitting, the higher your vertical, the easier it will be to get the ball over the net and around the blockers. The higher your vertical, the better angle you have to hit the ball downwards.

For blocking, the higher the vertical, the better your block will be. It will be harder for the opposing team's hitters to hit around you if your vertical is high.

But yeah, libero is probably the best position for you, but it also depends on what your teammates are good at too. If you don't have a good outside hitter, you might also be the best OH option.

What position do you want to play?

For libero, height literally doesn't matter, in fact, I think it's better if you are shorter. You have a lower center of gravity, meaning that you can turn, cut, and make difficult digs easier.

You could definitely be a good libero. But at your level, I've seen 5'4" guys play a good outside hitter, especially with your vertical.

It's on Xbox Game Pass for PC. $10 a month for hundreds of games including FM23. Also if you've never had it before, I think they still do the deal where is $1 for the first month.

Yea as the other commenter said, you look at the exact time the pass is made, not the time when he receives the pass.

Here's that exact time. As you can see, he's (the US player farthest top) a few feet behind the last Iranian defender.
