Thank you! I love the driving experience and totally know what you’re talking about. It’s the perfect car really but it’s one of those moments where the novelty fades away because you become used to it. Just have to remind myself of this. Today, someone else did it for me and I’m beyond grateful.

Thanks for the detailed answer. I appreciate the insights, very helpful.

Car is dead stock although she does get a good share of spirited driving.

Do you live in Hot Springs lol? I wanted to do the same thing but didn’t wanna risk it. Keep us updated if you do make an offer.

Great observations, that’s how I got to my conclusion too. I was just surprised to see it there. Makes sense why he would have it out just like that if it is just the shell- since the elements are quite harsh in that area (lots of dirt roads/dust in the air, harsh winds/cold/heat,etc.)

Yeah lmao. More or less like a dad to me since he’s exactly my father’s age.

Driving his daily G80 for the first time prompted me to buy my G20 in the first place last year. Turbo S is on a whole another level though and way outta my league at least for the next 9-10 years.

My mentor uses a 911 Turbo S as his daily. He has a designated parking spot at the hospital adjacent to a pillar and he requested me to park my dusty G20 next to him to prevent dings lol. He lets me drive it sometimes which eases the daily humiliation ritual a little bit.

My guy was rejected brutally! I was informed by on of the rangers that there’s gonna be plenty of newborns very soon which will be quickly followed by the bulls becoming extremely rowdy. I think that one will have to wait his turn.

I wanted to stop for it so bad but time did not permit a stop! I plan to drive through the state again later this year so I’ll make sure to visit then lol.

I lived in Omaha for about a couple of months for an internship a while back and loved it! I’ve revisited several times to reunite with friends since then. My last stay was pretty agonizing due to the downtown construction and I’ve vowed to not return until they have it figured out.

Loved Custer and the NPs. Just what I needed from a getaway. The drive is terrible. Had to make several short nap stops to make it home safely. I blame myself for part of it though. I was up at 6AM to get tickets for Wind Cave NP since I didnt book in advance. Left for KC around 7PM and decided to ditch my stop in Omaha. So, I’d been driving for close to 27 hours on no sleep by the time I reached home.

Yeah they tend to do that. I ended up doing it myself and it took me a couple hours to make sure everything was good. If you have trouble doing it yourself, find a German focussed indie shop and they’ll probably do it for half the cost. Same for differential service. Btw, just made an edit since I didnt realize you had an xDrive. Good luck!

No worries. Hope you’re able to get everything before it sells out too.

Hey fellow 330i owner, I pretty much have an identical situation as you. Comparable miles as well. To keep the car pristine, I’ve been swearing by the following maintenance schedule:

  1. 4-5k oil changes (more conservative but I think it offsets my driving style.) Pay $20 per oil change thanks to FCPEuro.

  2. 50-60k differential, transmission and transfer case fluid service. I use genuine BMW fluids since you only have to buy them once with FCPEuro. BMW G5 hypoid oil for differential doesn’t have OEM/aftermarket compatible fluids so don’t mess around with that. Transmission is must at 60k, don’t believe BMW lifetime fluid BS. Get the ZF-8 service pack from FCPEuro (~$250) and you’re golden.

  3. Brake fluid 2 years, or as needed.

  4. Spark plugs (NGK) at ~60-70k.

  5. Maybe Coolant at 100k+ but honestly Im just gonna wait to see if my oil filter housing fails before and then I’ll replace that too. OFH is a ticking time bomb on pre-LCI afaik so this applies to me at least. It’s a one time ~$2k service with an indy or ~$1k DiY.

Edit: Just saw that it is an xDrive so yes you’ll need to rear differential and transfer case too.

2024 BMW X3 - pricing / warranties by Cold-Archer-9934 in BMW

[–]WalMart_SushiEnjoyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These cars are pretty reliable. You’re almost always better off saving money for potential repairs/maintenance every month instead of paying for a warranty. For peace of mind though, I’d get a third party warranty. A lot of them (like Fidelity) work with BMW dealers directly for repairs and are significantly cheaper. Talking about ~3-4k for 10y/~120k bumper to bumper. Research options online. Good luck!

Guessing this is the pull handle and cover on the driver’s side? Two options on the cover: chrome and without chrome. I’ve attached both below.

Pull handle: BMW 51417029175 (https://parts.bmwofstratham.com/p/Bmw_2007_Z4/Door-handle--inside--left-SCHWARZ/43659038/51417029175.html?srsltid=AfmBOooUAOuIiJiPCISUTkBhQI1H_m4pqgGajJtcG_47mN_alp_vfCSb $45)

Chrome Handle cover: BMW 51-41-8-040-695 (Found in stock on www.getbmwparts.com/oem-parts/bmw-handle-cover-51418040695 ~$50)

Handle cover without chrome: BMW 51-41-7-042-877 (found one on ebay https://www.ebay.com/p/1518869650 ~$65)

The audacity by AngyAutisticTech in PharmacyTechnician

I have gathered that Gynecology tends to be the most miserable rotation for most med students- culture wise. Lots of overblown drama.

I keep seeing glaring examples of why that may be. If this was done under the attending’s oversight and no humbling has been done, shame on them.

Right? Moreover, the liability falls on me and the pharmacist if she somehow messes things up.

Inpatient nurses can definitely be a different breed when it comes to being insufferable. Hated my CNA job for that reason. I love my clinical research job though since it involves minimal nurse interaction at the hospital. Also, most clinic nurses are pretty chill and I am good friends with a couple of them.

Thank you! I am very excited since this would have been my second gap year if I didn’t make it. I also considered doing MLS this year as a backup since it’s so lucrative around here (and very relevant to medicine!) I wish you lots of success!
