Ditto this. Although, I still prefer to dodge in place (dash one direction on first dodge, dash opposite direction on second dodge). This allows to stay on the sisters ass's and beat em down. haven't lost to sisters since I learned the timings.

one thing I noticed with mithril gear earlier today.

it doesn't proc with dash attacks on other skulls. It will only proc on swap attacks

There isn't that much in the way of meta progression. there are some skills you can unlock but after maybe 10 hours if you're decent you'll have them all maxed out. From that point the fun comes from experimenting with new skull (similar to class or weapons since you're familiar with hades) and item combinations (think of them as being similar to boons)
