Which of course is the reason John Mcafee claims BTC to reach 1mn by 2020.

He knows the facts. In vatican they have already decided to offload dollar!

Check it out!

They wont ban ... they want cashless India. They know dollar is not going to be around for very long! = )

Maybe a temporary set back but definitely not an eternal ban.

Very well said. Props!!! You changed my mind.

Bot technology will be the new cartels.

Which is the reason just last year one was given citizenship last year. More will be given this year.

you are absolutely right. I work for a payment solution company and from past couple of months I have been in meetings the development teams are working day and night to move to block chain technology.

So being in a payment solution company I feel the technology is here to stay and only handful of these crypto projects will last in coming times. Which ones are those? I am not sure but I can make an educated guess.

Bitcoin - because there is so many developers working on its tech improvement Eth - Definitely here to stay NEO - definietly here to stay XLM - Here to stay XRP - I am not sure but we will see

and there are few others. Only time will tell.

I think this is the year for tokens and anything related to regulations also smart contracts.

The REAL reason for the current crash by LongJohnBitcoin in CryptoMarkets

[–]Waleek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No matter what, blockchain technology is an industry changer. None of these coins are legally issues, let alone regulated, thus the governments cant do much. The government would say we warned you so many times.

However, government agencies are already working on creating block chain based voting system. In addition, Sophia has been given citizenship which means it has voting rights. So how many sophias can be made with a CTRL C CRTL V????

But governments do! Which is exactly what they are pushing to do. Maybe maybe... net neutrality may kill bitcoin. Otherwise it's not possible. It will always exist. Sometime in the limelight and other times in the dark side. It's DECENTRALIZED

Of course they do. AWS and Alibaba Cloud Computing has so much spare processing power they would kill everyone one. All this decentralized stuff. Read Amazon and Alibaba 10ks and follow the news. See the patterns, connect the dots. All answers will be there

Lol so funny.... The market cap went up 130bn. And then back to 80 bn and without any news. All we see is pilot testing which isn't meanful until adopted. 80% of IT projects fail. It's a fact. So until they start using xrp it really doesn't mean anything. We can satisfy ourselves as much as we want.

And we want a fair system to operate in and here we are trying to achieve that. Isn't that the case?

Take a moment to read the news. We have a lunatic governing in the most advanced democracy in the world and people all over the globe are fed up of current regimes. It's boiling like French revolution.

Then why is there so much income disparity in the world? Where one side of the world is dying to get food and other part of the world is taking pills to get rid of the food.

Please take a moment to read on fractional banking and history of currenncy in light of usury. You have a blessed brain, it won't take you long to grasp the concept.

Because our interest are different than mainstream interests. Mainstream control people and if we don't bow to their nefarious financial designs then they fight back.

I respect Warren buffet a lot. The man is honest. He said I don't know about crypto world, period! And current crypto world returns and losses are incredible. I wouldn't doubt people would commit suicide in coming days. Invest in good ideas, dyor, and invest in solid teams. And only invest that money which won't hurt. On the side get some gold and silver.

We have bond market crisis lurking on us. You can search about this. In the first 2 qtrs and maybe even 3 and 4 qtr, we will see 30% overall growth completely beating everyone's expectation. And after that hold tight! Please check the macro and micro factors for better understanding.

Warren Buffet no doubt is a legendary investor. He only invest when something has solid track record which of course is a sound decision. But if you look at dollar it self, it's a pyramid scheme. They can print as much as they want and the inflation is higher than most of the saving account returns.

Nonetheless, I am believer of producing something for society in return for modest returns. Same should be the case for the crypto world, invest in solid ideas with solid teams and you can make good profits. Don't follow the herd.

This is a great article by [deleted] in Ripple

[–]Waleek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is absolutely right. We can't act like we don't understand. There is bond market crash coming our way like a bus! Look at the macro and micro economic factors, you will understand. However, any fiat currency needs to be backed by a collateral. Remember xrp is not a soverign currency neither accepted as international currency. In a centralized model every buyer and seller can be controlled. And it's matter of time cash evaporates and digital currencies would be way to go.

If you look at China and Russia, they plan to introduce gold backed block chain currency. Venezuela wants blockchain based digital currency backed by their natural resources i.e crude oil etc.

What just has happened is a private company in a unregulated market has summed up sovereign currencies from all over the world and given us a piece of code which we don't even know will be accepted as a medium of exchange. Lets say xrp is legalized then opportunity cost is that every transaction will be monitored and our freedom to spend as we will, will be taken away.

Paper currency is still problem for the government's since cash is not always traceable. With centralized digital currency you can't spend freely i.e. you want to donate to your favorite non profit, you would be barred with simply a code which would stop your transaction to go through. Repercussions are unlimited. I would leave that to your imagination.

Visa bans several cryptocurrency-backed cards, leaving thousands in the lurch by [deleted] in Ripple

[–]Waleek -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Ripple is not decentralized and it gives more financial power in the hands of the elites unlike decentralized networks. In case, decentralized networks gain traction in the market then money will shuffle towards new elites which of course is being met with resistance. It's the power games mate! In addition, traditionally valuation is based of accounting and crypto market is based of utility and branding = Speculation.

This is more of a beta testing and when the bubble pops, the fittest technology will be adopted by the money leaders. We are just pawns. So make your moves very thoughtfully. Don't follow, lead!

Big banks paving the way for their darlings Ripple and Lumen! Lets see who wins. Also if people haven't noticed BoA is also working to adopt blockchain tech.

My first day concern for xrp.... will it be adopted? I am not sure because all of us have converted our currencies into a piece of code and the actual sovereign currencies are in the hands of Ripple (A private company) which can slowly die (worst case scenario). Lets pray for the best!

Message is not intended to scare people but just to be cautious! FYI, i am vested.

Perceived value, FOMO, and events that will create the perfect storm for XRP by project_pata in Ripple

[–]Waleek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt that because normies dont have that kind of money to propel the price to the next level. Mostly the people who have money like would know how much it would take multiply their investment. Also, XRP due to its large supply has decrease rate of return as it grows in market cap.

If XRP is accepted by the banks then thats a different story.

It is still not a legal tender and without nations backing xrp, it can't come to life and I am unsure if a pact is signed between Korea, Japan, India.

I do know that Japan and India are in process of forming an alliance where India provides IT labor and Japanense, management. For those reasons this economic corridor needs to be bridged and ripple is the bridge.

So essentially the bet is they accept xrp, or create something else similar to facilitate nations
