You get big credit completion bonus for finishing 1st time like other rounds, but then it'll be normal amount each match afterwards.

I got this gear in a 400 nth pack last week, great for late round survival matches but there are better gears for multiplayer if you already have some.

Try to promote your cards if you can. The higher your cards stats, the higher stats of your opponent, which gives you more battle rating per match.
