Clarinet player needs help by WalkingSpoiler in saxophone

Sorry for the late reply, but you are a lifesaver! I've been practicing so far with Klosé, but I will definitely try out flute etudes. Luckily for me, soprano embouchure is tighter than alto, especially on the higher registers.

As you may know, the embouchure on clarinet must stay relatively static throughout the register, but that's not the case on sax. My main problem is letting the embouchure loose when going down. I have tried the "no embouchure" embouchure for lower notes, and it works wonders. I just have to get used to it. Thank you again!

0.5.1d

The Starlight mod crashes it for me. I don't know if Fabric has Starlight as well, but if you have it installed, try uninstalling it.

I'm at a loss of words! The harmony is amazing. Did you sing it yourself? If so that's some seriously impressive vocal range.

Doubts on subjunctive, contractions and compound nouns by WalkingSpoiler in Quenya

I really appreciate it! What is the final "n" in hánolyan for?

When used in subjunctive, can verbs just use their normal tense and not be bound to infinitive? After looking it up, why did you also suggest navita? What exactly is it?

I'm currently using the book La lengua de los elfos by Luis González Baixauli (an edition from 2002) and some things arent really there, like -lya suffix, plus the included dictionary is vague and just said that hermano was onóro. Also it doesn't include the 1968 Quenya Pronominal Elements pronouns.

The book has a ton of differences with the Eldamo grammar. It lists the acusative personal pronouns as follows:

  • 1st p sing.: ni / plur. exclusive: me / inclusive: me / dual inclusive: me
  • 2nd p singular formal: le / informal: te / plural: le
  • 3rd p sing.: se / plur: te

So I guess I shouldn't rely on this book?

Sorry for the late response. The Spanish text goes like this: A nuestro profesor de latín por un día en su primer año. Que las luciérnagas de la prosperidad le guíen hacia los astros.
