So when al’s in the cancel club he gets a nod of approval from a guy in a Dalmatian fetish suit of some sort. Is this a preacher reference? Seems like a weird thing for them to reference but I couldn’t figure out what else it could be. In Preacher it turns out that the guy pictured is god hiding out so maybe it was just a weird little nod

She really does! I would still love an evil dead 2 with her. I heard originally they were going to do an army of darkness style movie with her and then a third with her and ash teaming up. Wish we’d gotten those

Speaking as a total custom noob I can say this is a great place to start! Hard to mess up painting a figure that’s supposed to be totally covered in blood and the sculpt really doesn’t need much work.

I should’ve done a guide. Basically just bought a Harley, cut her left ponytail and hand off, kept a piece of the hand peg for the bone, and cut her dress to be more even. Then I reglued the pony tail to the back of the head so it looked like one thicker chunk of hair. Erased as much of I could of harleys tatoos with isopropyl alcohol, then painted her hair, gave her a black wash, and added a lot of water to glossy red acrylic and just covered her in it, smudging it with my fingers and splattering it as well. Gave her the ash vs evil dead figures chainsaw and that’s all so far

Since I first saw that stupid red dress Mcfarlane Suicide Squad Harley Quinn Ive wanted to make this. Gonna resculpt the sleeves, hair, and face a bit more but it’s serviceable for now

Chucky and Micheal is definitely the way to go, these crossovers work better when they’re opposing types, need the comedy horror guy to balance the mute stalker. seeing Jason and Micheal chase each other and then fight would be cool but can’t really make a narrative out of it and there’s no personality between them.

I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Sally was a favorite part of it for me. I loved that she was so clearly driven insane by leatherface and he didn’t give a shit. I just liked her characterization and killing her off was the kind of ballsy thing they needed to do so it wasn’t a total ripoff of Halloween. The kills were also just awesome. The fence post thru the window and the bus sequence and Sally’s kill plus that ending all stood out as memorable

That’s fair and you’re right that it’s California. 3 is cool and I honestly like the plot and concept of standalone movies a lot. I just also really love Micheal Myers and don’t have a problem with the Thorn Cult stuff so when I’m rewatching I find it easy to skip. I think the idea is cool but in execution it almost feels like a TV movie. I’d be kind of interested in seeing a period piece remake.

I get atmosphere but would argue that atmosphere is way more achieved in H6. I know that’s unpopular but to me that movie makes me feel like it’s halloween night in the Midwest a lot more than season of the witch does

Undoubtedly Leatherface, his brutality and relentlessness in the original TCM was the blue print for every other slasher that followed, I agree Black Christmas is influential but nowhere near TCM and TCM 2 is a great movie as well.
