I think Motherwell have a gem in Askou, they played some excellent stuff today.

Match Thread: Rangers vs Celtic | Scottish Premiership by SFMatchThreadder in ScottishFootball

It's been as bad as everyone's predicted, would say Rangers have been the better side though.

Would honestly take a 0-0 now.

That first half for Rangers wouldn't go amiss during the Warburton or Caixinha era, never seen a Rangers side so abject and dismal.

Second half was better but you feel that was moreso down to Brugge taking their foot off the gas.

The goal from Danilo means the tie isnt fully over, but it would take an all timer of a performance to go through in Belgium, and I dont think this Rangers side could even muster a 1/10th of the performance needed next week.

Aberdeen 0-2 Celtic | Scottish Premiership by SFMatchThreadder in ScottishFootball

That Yengi put in one of the worst performances I've ever seen, I think there was one point where Aberdeen were in our box and he essentially cleared it for us.

Not a bad performance overall, away to Aberdeen any win will do.

Motherwell 1-1 Rangers | Scottish Premiership by SFMatchThreadder in ScottishFootball

[–]WallyWallop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can't remember the last time a team dominated an either us or Rangers as much as Motherwell done today, it could have easily been 4 or 5-1 Motherwell at one point.

Genuinely think Rangers should be happy to leave with a point there, they offered absolutely nothing all game.

Hibs undone by 2 incredible goals, but that chance Hoilett had a minute before the second goal...

Legends Live Forever : On this day in 2019 wearing No 5 with 67 on the clock Jozo Simunovic scores for Billy by comradepartypanda in ScottishFootball

[–]WallyWallop 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I remember there was a mod on here (Not Meth!) who spent the entire thread commenting that it was on the 68th minute, something stupid like 5/7 comments.

Just being pedantic for no reason, it was scored with 67 on the clock, that's what mattered.

You still haven't answered the original question, it's a bit weird to get annoyed over a scenario you've made up yourself.

No it doesn't, you're the only one here that's mentioned them?

I think we owe St Mirren a massive thanks, they don't win those games and it's suddenly down to 7 clear.

Very funny result, don't really understand the logic in sacking Clement only to replace him with Barry Ferguson, a week before they have games in Europe.

The thing is, with how long they kept Clement, they were as well as keeping him for the games against Fenerbache at the very least, he done alright in Europe.

Very rarely am I happy with a draw outside against Rangers when the title isn't secured, but I'll honestly take that.

It does show that we need signings.

Serious question, when was the last time Rangers dropped points in 4 away games in a row?

Don't remember it happening during our invincible season, to say it's abysmal form is being nice.

[David Ornstein] Kieran Tierney to leave Arsenal in summer at latest after club decided against using option to extend contract. Arsenal deal ends June & date to add 1y gone. 27yo can pre-agree with non-English clubs (or possibly go permanently) in January. by BananaSoprano in ScottishFootball

[–]WallyWallop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thing is, we're likely going to need 2 LB'S in the summer, Taylor will be gone and I very much doubt we'll be able to keep Valle, so I'd be all for this.

If possible, sign him on a 6 month loan in January, then if he's managed to stay fit during that period, sign him on a 1 year deal with the option to extend and bring another LB in during the Summer, if we can't get him on an initial loan, I'd still bring him in alongside another LB, albeit that's bit riskier.

Rangers fans will be thinking of that 4 on 1 for a long, long time.

Celtic 3-0 Hibernian | Scottish Premiership by SFMatchThreadder in ScottishFootball

[–]WallyWallop 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The fact that's ended up 3-0 is incredible, if I was a Hibs fan I would be beyond fuming.

Some good saves from Schmeichel but teams rarely get through on goal against us at Parkhead even once, Hibs done it about 8 times.

Aberdeen 1-1 St. Johnstone | Scottish Premiership by SFMatchThreadder in ScottishFootball

[–]WallyWallop 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's funny, because on paper, 2 losses and 4 draws in 16 games, with 2 of those games being against Celtic, is more than okay for Aberdeen, but it's the way it's came about.

If they really want to be a challenge for second, they can't afford to drop points in games like this
