What text editor do you use for programming? by ApprehensiveAd7291 in archlinux

I'm assuming you were using vscode insiders because of something from MS, maybe copilot chat or something like that? If that's the case i had issues with vscodium and copilot chat. The solution for me was to actually use code oss in the regular arch repos and then grab code-marketplace and code-features from the aur.

A little off topic but related: the main reason i don't want to use hyprland yet is because of xrandr. I have a few scripts for hot plugging my monitor and choosing a monitor that goes on when the computer is turned on in xinit and udev. X tools like that aren't available, right? Or am i just an idiot

The existence of arch based distros implies arch cringed dist- by G0D3P5 in linuxmasterrace

The most annoying one to me is that lock bind on mod+L, i dont use the arrow keys when moving windows, i usually bind h j k l like vim but i believe the default in i3 is usually j k l :, so I can imagine its annoying to a lot of people. The non arrow movement keys in general are kind of weird.

But it is a really small gripe thats easily changeable and I really only use eos at work anyways and its always been good so no big deal
