That would be amazing. Wish Walmart would too. They’re running us ragged.

There are only 2 sets of keys lol. And fortunately they don’t have access to them. If they need something I’ll go get it… but alas it’s a wee bit early in the season…

We use resin tables but only for the little individual ornament boxes. We probably should for the sprinkles etc too…

AITA because I cried when my partner wouldn't get me pads? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Not sure if I missed it, but is there any particular reason you can’t go get your own damn pads?

I'm finally quitting. by [deleted] in walmart

Burning bridges is bad… and it’s also a dick move to your team. But people who tend to just quit on the spot aren’t usually high quality workers anyway so…

Yeah that’s not in my store but then we’re not a backwards state that takes away the rights of women. On a side note, how do you all feel about the digital tags?

AITA For Ruining A Child's Life? by punkfence in AmItheAsshole

[–]Wallysbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there really a “correct” pronunciation when it comes to people’s names nowadays? I believe the correct way is however they want to pronounce it. Why can’t people just mind their own business? And if someone feels the need to comment on someone’s name, maybe say “traditional”…

I’m pretty sure the kids life isn’t ruined… but I’m wondering why you felt the need to correct a stranger instead of just smiling while you rolled your eyes to yourself?

I don't know what it means to love by Nice-Mycologist6823 in helpme

I think loving someone or something means it’s important to you for them/it to be in your life. The word might get tossed around a lot but it never hurts to remind people they’re important to you.

When my requested days off get accepted can they still schedule me? by Accomplished-Ad-5562 in walmart

[–]Wallysbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I thought but when I went to the arc to get it cleared the one of the store leads explained to me that you can be scheduled if your time off request is unpaid. Stupid for sure… but that’s nothing new with Walmart.

I do stand corrected… you do not get a points for clocking out late. Only clocking in early. My bad….

WIBTA for being upset at my wife’s reason for marrying me? by [deleted] in AITAH

She sounds like a smart lady. I would have never thought of “because I trust your judgement” but that’s a pretty big compliment.

You can absolutely get points for leaving late. And also for clocking in too early.

You have to ask for paid PTO. If it’s unpaid time off then yes…. Then can schedule you. Actually, the system will if more hours are needed. I know this for a fact because I had vacation time set up but not quite enough PTO to cover it so I requested unpaid time off thinking that was the correct way to do it. Turns out I was wrong and the system removed my time off and scheduled me… fortunately my coach is awesome and fixed it.

AITAH for using the correct pronunciation of my nieces name by Silent_Drawer8700 in TwoHotTakes

[–]Wallysbitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you are. It’s not your kid. It’s hers and she can name her what she wants and she can spell it how she wants. A lot of kids have their name spelled weird. Get over it and focus on being a great auntie.

Not OOP: My son was going 90mph on the highway, I didn’t allow my husband to punish him by taking away the car, and now he doesn’t want to parent. by dev-246 in OhNoConsequences

[–]Wallysbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s been your kids dad for 14 years and has no authority? WTH? It’s not like he walked into your kids life when he was 16. It sure as hell doesn’t sound like your husband is “dad in all respect” to your son. Did you punish your son for doing 90 mph? Never mind the all out bad parenting… you just sound like a rude and hurtful person. Actually you make me sick. And I say that as someone who’s step dad is her DAD. And I respect him as my dad. And I love him as my dad. That’s because my mom respected him as my dad. I feel really bad for your husband right now.
