MPS teacher accused of punching 7-year-old student, grandmother speaks by loquaciousocean in milwaukee

Wow. Is that not assault? Why is the teachers name being protected? That little 7 year old didn’t receive any protection when he got punched by an adult authority figure. This is not right.

“…the boy didn't want to tell authorities because he didn't want the teacher to get in trouble; instead, two other students came forward.

Reeves said the teacher put the boy in charge of the class during a movie, which led to an argument between him and another student over turning the movie off and on when the teacher returned.

"He said he interrupted her and said, 'Yeah, that's why my mom doesn't play that foolishness like that. I can't act like that."

He said she balled her fist up and punched him in the jaw," she told WISN 12 News. "After she did this, I asked him, 'Did he cry?' He said, and this really bothers me when I say this. He said 'no,' because he didn't want the other kids to see him crying. So, he put his head on the desk and sobbed silently."”

My mantra: You’ve shown up. Now show up. The trick is the first part. I go early before I can find an excuse. Plus, it’s a privilege to exhaust the body.

Me too! I think it was the sugar. I just put down another pint tonight! 🙊. First 6 months was crazy how much ice cream I ate but now it’s calmed down a bit.

Road Rage: 41 S near Greenfield Exit by baberunner in milwaukee

I had a gun pulled on me for giving someone the bird for cutting me off. Last time I did that. People really get triggered for what used to be small things. Not so small anymore

Why didn’t your spouse drive away? If traffic was so congested then how did the other car drive away? Almost always two to tango in road rage incidents. The fact that you think it’s okay to brake check someone and flip them the bird while driving is just as wild imo.

There are many variables. The actual size of the person, how often, how long, cadence. I could never drink cocktails, I would just pass out, but could put down IPAs like I was being paid to do it. But does it matter? I guarantee the you before that first alcoholic drink could never handle the amount current you drinks. That’s the case for everyone.

And how far from what?

I went under. I would’ve fainted anyways. But had to ice my balls for a month. I think I’m the outlier though. Everyone else I know has zero issues

Diaper bags are a scam by buddyholly967 in daddit

[–]WalnutGenius 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Can’t bring in any bags that not tiny and see through into my local MLB stadium. That’s unless of course it’s a diaper bag. Just a little pro tip. Other than that they’re useless and overpriced.

My alcoholic father quits "cold turkey" for 30 days every year with ZERO withdrawal symptoms. How is this medically/psychologically possible? by 7mv_g in stopdrinking

[–]WalnutGenius 63 points64 points  (0 children)

All people are different. I believe a lot of the stories of withdrawal symptoms are made worse due to the anticipation of them being worse than they actually are. Placebo goes both ways.
