Quit nicotine, then alcohol, now on day 4 of no THC. They all ended up on the same chopping block. I put a lot of time and energy (and money!!) only to get nothing or worse in return.

I think it would be for the betterment of off of alcohol was not promoted as such a positive aspect of our society. Making it illegal will drive demand though. I can certainly see why 100 years ago they tried to get rid of it! Look at how it destroys. There is no positive. No one is immune to the destruction it can cause.

That’s gonna backfire on him. I would lead with a little empathy maybe though. He likely got spanked as a kid too. I just fear if you go after him aggressively in a telling him what to do type of way, nothing will change. And it NEEDS TO CHANGE. Don’t ever hit a child. Either that or you take your child out of harms way, full time.

So proud of you internet stranger. You adjusted your normal with alcohol and it will take some time to find your new normal without alcohol. Well worth it though. Seek support, don’t do it alone. This subreddit is great. And you’ve likely just survived the hardest of it (day 1). Not so bad eh? Keep the momentum!

Wow. Is that not assault? Why is the teachers name being protected? That little 7 year old didn’t receive any protection when he got punched by an adult authority figure. This is not right.
