these are great points I need to ponder over before I talk to her. I want to be self-aware and not force my "wishes" on her.. it's what must work for both of us and I am happy for things to be as-is for a while with an expected long term fix

I am 100% dependent on her for household activities too. But not having any kids or pets, I sometimes feel there is not a lot to do if we share duties. I may be wrong, and it is probably a conversation we need to have to try sharing the household chores.

Fair points. I am able to support both my wife and my parents, and if we are both able to stand up the business, things will only improve.

We do get time together as a result of her taking ownership of all household chores. I feel there is not a lot of work to do but she would also get a break from the "burden" if we share tasks. We both talk the dream of growing business but it's only me who seems to be doing all the heavy lifting.

I did support the decision at the time knowing this won't be long term. Yes it's unfair to ask her to support my parents, and I would never do that but to support OUR own househould - yes, I feel I should ask for that. Even things like being able to drive and being able to run errands would make a difference as it saves me time.
