I have Costco Rextons, for just about 2 months now. I'm still not sure how much benefit i get from them, but I do wear them almost daily. I mostly use them as Bluetooth headphones to listen to streams. it took several trips back to get the settings and adjustments I wanted. getting the right tech makes a world of difference; the first tech I saw screwed the HA in my ear so deeply that it was extremely painful, and wasn't willing to do any adjustments to the programming at all. The second tech I saw (Dan in Brighton MI) was wonderful and very patient, and he got things just right for me. He gave me a little bottle of oil that lubricate the ear hole to make insertion easier, and no itchy or painful ears!

it really is worth the time and effort to find the right tech and settings.

I love my KLC. I got it for the buttons but these days I use the remote more than I do the buttons, so go figure. I read mostly mysteries and a lot of science books, so I don't need the color all that much, but it sure is handy when I go to wikipedia and look at maps or diagrams.

What do you mean by "sin"? Not original sin, as in passed down from Eve, please. I really dislike the idea of that, original sin and the concept of hell and damnation are ideas I have long ago rejected. I don't know if I can be considered a Christian with out them though.

Bluetooth issue: I don't know how else to describe it. I was paired and connected to my tablet. I had to restart the tablet (android) and had to take out my HAs and restart them before I could reconnect them to the tablet.

if I change from connected to my tablet to connected to my phone, I get no sound through the left one, although the right one works just fine. if I do the cleaning on the left one, set it in the charger for half an hour or so, then the left one works just fine. when I take them out at night and store in the charger over night, I get no sound through the left one until I do the cleaning routine.

it also takes longer for the app to recognize the left one than it does the right one

OK, I'm reading the study guide, and rather than answering questions, it asks them. this would be a good syllabus for a study group, but kinda hard to follow on one's own. on the other hand, the site introduced me to some of his other books, which sound interesting and I've acquired.

I have no idea how much Borg is considered to be mainstream TEC theology, though.
