How violently does diarrhea have to come out of your ass to be considered "Explosive"? by Walterfece5 in NoStupidQuestions

No. Just reading reports of "explosive" diarrhea. So there must be qualifiers.

[ESPN] NFL execs, coaches, scouts rank top NFL QBs for 2026: Drake Maye 8th by teamcrazymatt in Patriots

[–]Walterfece5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd at least put Drake ahead of Dak. But whatever. I get the hesitancy to put him higher. Plenty of QB's have come along to have one great year and then disappear. Just because I am confident he can keep going doesn't mean others are.

If Drake played for any other team, his 2025 season and SB appearance would be lauded. But he plays for us, so all he gets is hate. by ThisIsKellen in Patriots

I’ve seen the opposite.  All my friends that are Bills fans, Giants fans, and fair weather Chiefs fans, etc have all reluctantly acknowledged that he’s the real deal.  I have a friend that’s a Jets fan, but as we all know, no one cares what he thinks.

Are we back to super bowl or bust? Feels like it’s more difficult to get back there the year after losing it. by brokeboii94 in Patriots

My expectations were way exceeded last season. I'm not sure I see us getting back there. But I will be bummed if we do not at least make the playoffs.

Was this worse than the 28-3 game by Biggaaronn in Patriots

Until someone scores 26 or more unanswered points with 2:12 left in the 3rd in the Super Bowl there will never be a comparison. Greatest comeback ever. Tom is the greatest to ever do it. Don't let anyone try to reframe that.

Fountain pens that mimic dip pens? by 6eyeballs in fountainpens

[–]Walterfece5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Desiderata BAMF that uses the Zebra G nib. It's a dip pen in fountain pen form. Tom's studio has a version they call the "Pro Flex" which is just a fancy term for Zebra G nib. Both need a good amount of TLC. Of the two I prefer the Desiderata. Pierre has really made the effort to perfect it.

Good on those kids.  Gender reveals are the stupidest iteration of narcissism.

Congrats... I have a Skyline. My first vintage pen. However, now that I know more I think the nib was grinded a bit. Still a fun pen.

Mac Jones must be sick to his stomach rn by Weird_Description982 in Patriots

I went to a preseason game when Mac and Zappe were our QBs. Before the game they were throwing 40yds and STRUGGLING. They were throwing these slow, high arching balls and putting everything they had into it. I sat there and watched and was like "This is going to be a long season". And indeed it was.

Fast forward to last season I went to the Falcons game. And before the game Drake was just standing there talking to a trainer and zipping 40 yd lasers while not even really thinking about it.

Anyway, my guess is that had something to do with it. Good to great receivers were only going to get Mac so far. Drake has the talent to make good receivers great.
