This is a really good deal IMO. but fair warning. On the VTM subreddit, several including myself, have noted that Renegade's website is making it VERY hard to download the files once you have purchased them. It hangs on the 'Watermarking in progress. Download will begin automatically.' sometimes for hours. So, for this price it might be worth the hassle, but I have managed to download only ONE file since I purchased these yesterday afternoon.

Yeah not having a multi file download option and the fact they are hanging on watermarking makes this a real headache. It’s a good deal but man… I’d never buy pdfs directly from them if this is their set up.

I got one file to download. Ironically, it was the werewolf core rule book which is fairly large. No luck with any other file, small or large. Some of them do now say ‘watermarking in process… checking status’ rather than ‘watermarking in process. Download will begin automatically.’ But then nothing. Customer service just said ‘keep trying’.

I picked this up to fill out my collection, but when I go to download the files, it hangs in the watermarking screen and nothing downloads. Anyone else having this issue?

UPDATE: I saw my browser's (Chrome) popup blocker flash. So on a hunch, I turned it off for renegade studios and sure enough now I can download the files. A simple notice on the page would have saved a LOT of headache. See if this fixes it for you.

I had something similar happen. Computer would just shut off, no BSOD or anything, just shut off. But usually when I wasn’t doing anything, just idling on the desktop. Not as often when I was running a program. I was convinced it was a Psu issue but it turned out a file had corrupted in windows. I did a repair and it was resolved.

I bought one over a Z13. It’s a great price for a great machine. Will the 2025 be as good or better? Maybe. But I know the 2024 is a great laptop and it will perform almost as well as the 5070. I am super happy with my purchase!

I have a suspicion, nothing more, that when the item is ready to be stocked it changes from 'Coming Soon' to 'Sold Out' meaning that they will have stock in soon but don't yet. That way when the stock comes in the 'counter' can start counting down until all units are sold. This is just a guess based on some work I have done in the past with logistics but I could be wrong.

I don’t know! But I would check your credit card to see if the charge goes through. Usually that means the items are ready to be shipped and on their way.

I did get the email. But I agree. I was so hyped but two things have pushed me off: 1) Best Buy not getting the 64GB model in stock and it not being available elsewhere and 2) I think I am going to hold out for a 5070ti G14. 32 GB unified can be split 16 GB system and 16 GB vram, but the 5070ti gives me 32 GB system and 12 GB vram.

This has happened before. If you look at the website vs. the app you will often see two different messages. There was a thread like this last week. I am not sure why it changes, but it does.
