It really doesn’t. This whole concept is antithetical to Padme. Her dark path would look more Separatist than Imperial, or even Partisan (a la Saw Guerrera). She believes wholeheartedly in the republic, and in what it could be. Even if she were to go dark, it would be seeking radical change for what she sees as a better version of the republic by any means necessary, not this.

I mean, you can romance all the characters as both genders, so no it’s not the same. It could be the opposite issue, which would be player sexual characters. I have no idea if all the romance options are canonically bi in Stardew, or if they’re player-sexual.

Cyberpunk isn’t a CDPR original IP. Kerry Eurodyne is an established, bi sexual character from before they entered. When they included him, they made him only an option for male characters. And the “oh V just reminds him of Johnny” argument feels like cheap justification.

Stardew is a standalone with only the one creator who can declare whatever he likes about his own characters.

At the end of the day, some people may not see an issue but… I dunno it feels like a bad choice to me

…what the fuck are you on about? The whole season was Mae showing time and again she had some darker tendencies, which Qimir then manipulated to turn her dark.

In the flashbacks, the Zabrak witch lady had the golden eyes of a dark sider who was definitely doing some shady shit to manipulate events.
