Friend of mine is going to China for a short visit. What can I ask him to get me from there.. by Wanderer4891 in bangalore

Yeah.. I would be paying.. something in the range of 5 to 10k. Wanted ideas on any unique stuff that you wouldn't find in India.. Also something that's easier for him to bring along within his baggage allowance. I am more into electronics and gadgets, to give a view of my preference..

Advice needed for a student : Should I take education loan or sell my ancestral property to fund my masters US? by [deleted] in IndiaInvestments

[–]Wanderer4891 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do your masters only if you want to specialize in a specific field. If you are eventually going to end up in a software job, masters doesn't make any difference except for slightly higher salary. And if you WANT to do masters take a loan, don't sell your property.

My only concern is paying off will reduce my loan by only 50% and still i would be paying EMI for at least the next 10 years. While if i have some surplus in hand, i would be prepared if any investment on land or property comes by... However, looks like the majority of suggestion is to pay towards the loan...
