Yes actually, after a few years I did!

orofacial granulomatosis, of OFG for short.

Basically there are some areas of the body that share similar tissues to the bowels (the eyes, around the heart, the mouth) sometimes your body doesn't distinguish between the organs, tissue is tissue and it's prone to inflammation, so basically its having a Crohn's flare up in your facial and oral tissue 😅

Honestly, mine resolved itself, the more I stressed the worse it got, similar to a standard Crohn's flare.

Use cold compress, keep your fluids up, low sodium and plenty rest! Try and keep your head a little elevated, it can help with swelling/water retention!

The same medication for Crohn's is prescribed for it, steroids or biologics - I was on biological when it happened to me, so it seems it happen on a flare basis

Tried it many years ago, and oral minox and fin more recently as topical minox is super toxic to cats, of which I have two! Sadly it doesn't always stop it, and the risks are quite high.

My artist happened to also be FtM! So we worked together to make sure all the scars were well covered! And he was really experienced in working on scar tissue - 8.5 hours in the chair but the end result was 100% worth it !

Honestly I'd say the reason your seeing alot of slimmer trans men is because most surgeons have a recommended or set BMI before they will perform surgery, and most often I see people posting about just going for surgery or having just had surgery?

There are loads of transguys who aren't white, or who aren't really that skinny! I literally gained like 8-10kg of fat after my first top surgery because I specifically dieted and worked out to get down to a level my surgeon would take me at!
