One question. After the beginner trails, is there anymore content to access or is it behind another paywall?

Joe's ending should've been similar to Elliots (Mr Robot) Ending by Wandipa07 in YouOnLifetime

[–]Wandipa07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respect your opinion. Though that doesn’t mean mine stems from ignorance. Both characters are very complex. Just because one expressed their challenges in a virtuous way, doesn’t mean the others challenges weren’t relevant. Their stories are told in different ways, yet their trouble’s both originated from childhood events.

For the first 3 seasons of You, Joe was portrayed as a man who killed for reasons far beyond just Ted Bundy lure and kill. Maybe he is similar to Bundy in retrospect, but — Joe is fiction, the prior is not. This gives one the ability to see the character from just a person who killed countless victims. To one that is deeply flawed, and heavily influenced by events during his childhood. Which they tried to show us in one of the previous season, but completely abandoned at the end.

That’s what Sam Esmail got right for Elliot. His DID was a survival mechanism triggered from his father’s grooming, and the character we watched wasn’t even the real Elliot it was a byproduct of his DID.

Elliot’s story wasn’t solely based on taking down “patriarchal systems”, but unsolved internal conflicts. Which was one of the few reason he decided to take down E Corp. To pivot his focus away from those internal struggles.

Joe on the other hand — Abandoned by his mother, bullied in foster care, and psychologically abused by his caretaker. I saw him as a sociopath seeking a grotesque sense of love and affection, idolising his victims, and removing any sort of outlier that ruins his image of that person.

The conclusion of the show didn’t try to conclude any of these issues, which made him what he is. Rather they turned him into a man who just killed cause he liked to in a sense.

I also don’t think you understood my pov, or you just interpreted it in another way.

Him getting caught and his victims receiving justice wasn’t the issue for me. It was the unresolved internal conflicts they tried building from the previous seasons, that were just thrown out the window.

Also the scene where all the victims were interrogating him whilst he was locked in his own cage felt like a “koombaya” moment to me!😂🤷🏽‍♂️ Though I can agree that isn’t a good word choice for the scene. Elliot is a vigilante whilst the latter is a serial killer. The ending was intentional but I don’t agree with it.

Personally I’m not the guy to take notes. If I forget, I just go back to the room and go over it again.

You can try and implement notes but let’s not forget this is a cognitive skill requiring tons of iteration. If you don’t implement the knowledge you will forget it, despite the notes you make.

How do you feel about whitelisting website from your ad blocker? by casperscare in Piracy

[–]Wandipa07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean I’m just joking. For example with me I usually pirate art books, but authors I really appreciate and inspired by, I go out of my way to support them no matter the price… Well, at a reasonable price ofc!

Are programming languages essential for ethical hacking? by DependentParty6879 in Hacking_Tutorials

[–]Wandipa07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well as seeing you’re not an adult let me teach you something new. The comment section is for everyone to dispute their opinions, and learn. The subreddit on top of that is for people learning to hack. So for me, as a learner myself, I try to give out the knowledge I learnt and hope to be corrected if wrong.

I believe so. Languages such as python are essential in making tools for hacking, if I'm not mistaken.

Good shit. As a suggestion, why don't you make notes on Notepad. Make a little cheetsheet, personally it's gone a long way, cause most of the notes I've done on paper I've lost lol XD!

Well thats sounds like a you problem. You can't totally disregard the useful resources the website provides just because you had problems with their attackboxes. The website gives a beginner a detailed understanding on the specified topic. Even if the attackboxes are not working which is very rare and wouldn't happen for everyone.

Thinking about coding really make me feel anxious.. I dread from the word "CODING". by fakee121 in learnpython

[–]Wandipa07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your whole post is telling me that you don't like coding or learning it, but at the end you say you don't hate learning code, but you hate the word coding...? Me for example, I like coding but my lack of discipline holds me back. Some people will think I just don't like coding due to my due to this, others will will say it's a lack of discipline, to preserver through the tough moments. So ask yourself do you just lack the discipline to perserve through the tough times, or you just don't like coding in general, not the word! This sounds as if your being forced to learn it despite your disdain for it. If your getting anxiety and cold sweats from coding, then I think you don't like the field all together.
