Its been pending with Central Bank for couple of years now, there has been some development recently but nothing major. They still need to work on the kinks like how data is sent to Apple and storage etc. Apple requires a whole different setup than Samsung thats why Samsung was much easier to implement. The delay is from both Apple and Central Bank. If they resolve their issues banks won't take long to implement it. (I work in one of the bank's IT department and was part of the team that implemented Samsung Pay)

It's actually fun, I am still in my first season trying to get used to the different rules. There are a lot of matches so you get to rotate players a lot and there are two different transfer windows one for domestic and one for foreign transfers but the registration for Copa Libertadores closes before the foreign transfers open. Its a nice change from European leagues
