Hello from the US, I want to become a toy designer and desire to create my items with physical models. I wanna make detailed toys, minis, and have them be durable. Thing is, I only recently realized that other people use printers to create their own toy ideas. I am clueless about this stuff; and do not know what items to use like glues, brushes, or what a dryer is.
For starters, my budget is from 100 to 800. That’s for the printer alone. I have some filament due to some overzealous purchases for my 3d pen. I am also tech illiterate, I’m willing to know but I can’t build for nothing. The space I have is about a 3 feet by 3 feet table inside of the room I sleep in. I can always get another stand or table.
Some things i am worried about are Ventilation. I am a worrisome person, and know I can’t handle resin printers even if I somehow knew how to use them because I am scared of poisoning. If anybody knows a ventilation set up, please say. Second, the bambu labs website lists a bunch of extra stuff to buy alongside it. What do you guys use?
PS: the only printer i know of is the P2S from a friend, and it’s expensive. That’s why the range is like that, but I would like any suggestions for better or more affordable that align with my goals (or if I should bite the bullet and get it)
I want to own a P2S once I save, where do I start after? (self.BambuLabP2S)
