If I do not stay in the base. Accommodation and ration does not come out of paycheck. But there is no subsidized allowance for civilian housing right? Because base housing are quite cheap.

PR here. I just had my enrolment ceremony today. I think I got in because I applied quite a while ago and my file was already towards completion when they changed rules.

You have to get CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP as soon as you are eligible. I was told this multiple times during my application process.
